At our MARS 2003 event at the Art Center
on August 23rd, I became sick enough
that I couldn't stand from getting
overheated. I want to thank each and
every person who stepped up to the plate
to pinch hit for me while I was down.

Representative VerKamp from Greenwood
yesterday. He has also received
correspondence from the State Parks
department (I contacted both him and
Sen Whitaker) and he will forward those

I notice that for the next couple of
weeks there will be an opportunity for
gazers to see mercury venus mars jupiter
saturn and the moon all lined up around
dusk. It will be 30 years until this
happens again I read. I know I can count
on one hand how many

I have tried several times to locate the
club observatory using the map on the
webpage but have not had any success.
:( Too many turnoffs not included,
curves don't seem to match and I always
seem to wind up on the wrong road. 8O
