We have been asked to do a Big Boy/Cub Scout Star Party at Springhill Park, located north of Barling on 59 Hiway at the Lock & Dam 13 entrance, on Friday evening (October 29th), and we really N E E D Y O U R H E L P ! ! !. 
If you have a scope and would like to help out, please come out. Last word I had was that we would set up in the field directly north of the Security Gate/House of the Camping Area. This is located right off 59 hiway as you enter the park.
The Scout Master says that there could be as many as 300 people there.
So please help if you can!!!

Count me in. It looks like I will be able to make it after all. Lora will be at a trail ride this weekend and so she will be unavailable. I will have my 4" refractor.
i've only got a department store refractor, but i've got two good hands if there's anyway i could help you guys out.

Sunset tomorrow is at 6:25 PM, so I'm planning to be there as soon after 6:00 PM as I can make it. I'd say you could be there between 6:30 and 6:45 PM and be just fine. See you then!

It was a little cool and hazy, but about 100 cubscouts & leader/families had a wonderful time..............My thanks to Roger Cayer, Chuck & Loritta, and Bruce for setting up their equipment and putting on a great show.
