Hello. I don't think it will ever cool down again. The heat will make you crazy. It was really hard after returning from a couple of weeks in Alaska where the high was 60's and lows in the 40's. Posted a few of the many images I took. Maybe this will help remind you of a cooler time.

Hi, Mike! Long time no talk...
Great pictures.... what area of Alaska were you in? I used to see stuff like that driving down to Kenai from Anchorage. I grew up on a homestead up there...
Didn't happen to bring any of that COOL back with you...?
Devon
Hi Devon. Wow, I had to take a few seconds to remember where your name rang the bells from. It has been a lot of years sence they had the club meetings at the park. Are you still around the area?
The images are just a few I took. Started in Vancouver to katchakan, then to Juneau. From there we went to Skagway followed by Glacer bay and College Fjord. Got on a glass top train to Denali for the night. After we went to another lodge which is where the Alaskan range were from and it was beautiful. Perfect weather, no biters or rain untill the day we left. To be raised on a homestead must have been a hard road to hoe. Keep in touch

When we got back in June it was already passing 100dg. I never thought it would last much less get worst. Somebody better tel me what the hell is going on here. My patio is covered with hoppers looking for a cool spot. I have made it to 60 but never seen it like this. Is there something they know that the public won't hear? This is starting to scare me I don't mind telling you. We need another avatar for scared to death!!

Yeah.... it has slid right on past ridiculous... can't even use the scopes with all the sweat running down the face. Come on... high 90's at night?
I'm starting to really worry about fires, now....
Just slice me off a piece of Alaska.....
I have a viable solution to this weather! A rain spell!
Someone give me a new piece of equipment! A Losmandy mount? A WO FLT or a TeleVue scope? A new CCD camera?
I'm open to receive any!
Pablo
Great idea...
But I think it would take something REALLY substantial to kickstart a break in THIS weather...
Anyone willing to spring for a 8" APO for the cause...?
I forgot about the "NEC" (new equipment curse). I should be receiving a new scope this month.
I hope it and others together work as a team and end this!
