Hello
Just after sundown on the 11th I put the DSLR up in the back yard on a tripod. I attached a 100/400 zoom to the Cannon7d and started taking some 1 and 2 second pictures or the longest exposure the sky would allow. I started at 100mm and searched each image. The image below is a true image of the first time I imaged the comet. It is faint so I put an arrow pointing it out. I would say you need a pair of bio's to find the comet then take your images.

Here is a shot at about 350mm with the sky a little darker.

Hello. Between clouds I imaged the comet at 400mm. I saw the aircraft making a move towards the comet and I thought it would go away before the clouds came in but I was stuck with the comet and the aircraft. Laughing Out Loud Hope I can start using the scopes soon to get the impressive tail that is out there.
