For all those interested people who either came up to Coleman Observatory this evening, or for anyone else who wondered if we'd be holding an observing session due to the cloudy skies that are moving in, we apologize, but astronomical observing requires that the skies be clear.

We offer observing on dates other than the advertised days for observing events, but we will only open up if we have an observing session scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Should any of the folks who made the long trek up to the observing grounds wish to observe after the weather has cleared next week, we will honor their requests for observing as long as they send us an email the day BEFORE they'd like to come and visit.

Again, I apologize to those who came up and didn't get to see anything, and I hope everyone will understand.

Thanks
Bob Moody
Caretaker, Coleman Observatory
