All -

Christina Welch and I have scheduled a Star Party for May 15th, 2010 at Lake Fort Smith State Park. This supercedes the event we had originally scheduled for this date a Diamond Bar G Ranch, but we will look at having one there at a later date. We will be presenting an indoor program and then an outdoor star party for the public. Christine has an area in mind and they will be shutting off the outdoor lighting in that area to accommodate us. At the outset, this looks like it will be a great event, and hopefully we can collaborate with Lake Fort Smith State park more frequently in the future!

Dave and all that replied:
I cannot make a positive commitment at this point in time (Dec. 23), BUT, there may be a good possibility that I can participate in the Lake Fort Smith Star Party in May 2010. I am scheduled to be in Clarksville on May 12 for a dental appointment. It would be nice to be able to stay around in Ark. to be able to attend. Even better if the weather is good to be able to camp out and have my 3 grandkids have a chance to be out in the woods camping also.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Chuck
