Oy! Here it is -- that time of year again!

December is rapidly approaching and we are planning a spectacular meeting this year. As always, we are having potluck, and we need to get an idea what everyone is planning to bring so we can "fill in the corners". As always, everyone should bring their own favorite beverages. We also want to remind everyone - We are meeting at the Janet Huckabee River Valley Nature Center for the December dinner.

Here's what I have so far:

Turkey & Ham .......................................................................................... Leonard and Gayla Lynch
Cranberry Sauce ...................................................................................... Leonard and Gayla Lynch
Deviled Eggs ............................................................................................ Leonard and Gayla Lynch
Coconut Creme Cake ............................................................................... Leonard and Gayla Lynch
Fruit Salad ............................................................................................... Dave and Lora Grosvold
Pumpkin Pie/Topping ............................................................................... Dave and Lora Grosvold
Green Bean Casserole ............................................................................ Mark and Barb Warner
Sweet Potato Casserole .......................................................................... Mark and Barb Warner
Cookies/Desserts .................................................................................... Jim Fisher
Stuffing .................................................................................................... Chuck and Loretta Larson
Paper Plates, Cups, Flatware, Napkins, Ice ............................................ Chuck and Loretta Larson
Killer Pecan Pie ....................................................................................... Charley McLane
Key Lime Pie ........................................................................................... Charley McLane

Please let us know what you plan to bring, and I will add it to the list. We need veggies, salads, and desserts. Don't forget things like dinner rolls, cranberry sauce, ice, paper plates, cups, plastic ware, condiments, etc. So if you can't prepare something, perhaps you can pick up some of these other items instead.

We will also be holding our elections for next year's club officers. Please bring your nominations if you have one. We will be voting for the offices of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

We're planning to start eating as soon after 6:30 PM as we can! See you there!

Barb and Mark Warner volunteered a green bean casserole and a sweet potato casserole. I've added it to the list above.

Jim Fisher will be bringing cookies and/or desserts that travel well as he is coming form Little Rock. I've added it to the list.

I'll be baking this year and intend to use Claude Legris' mother-in-law's "Killer Pecan Pie" recipe.
I will also bring an Edward's/Schwans' key lime pie.

Thanks Charley -

Hey folks - I still don't see any mashed potatoes and/or gravy. Any volunteers?
