On Friday August 10th, we will meet at our normal Star Party site, at the nature center, at the entrance to Well's Lake. We will setup telescopes to view the visible planets and a few deep sky objects.

On Saturday, August 11th, we will meet a sundown in the Lake Fort Smith Marina parking lot for a Star Party.

I have completed the "Toughening Up" modifications to the Library Telescope Program demo scope and will have it setup at both events. I am still working on the laminated instruction manual, Program Rules and Guidelines, and other documentation.

Members are encouraged to attend and bring your scopes.

There no charge and everyone is welcome to both events.

Non-members may bring your scopes as well. We can offer assistance to anyone not familiar with their equipment.
