I was just outside of my home (35*22'49" N, 94*23'47" W) at 12:30am (12/15/11) and saw one of the brightest meteors I have ever seen. First seen at near zenith, traveling from the south to north/northwest (330 Degrees) it appeared to explode at about 10 degrees above the horizon. Even though the sky was slightly overcast, it was a very bright Green near the brightness of a full moon .

All I can say is WOW!!!

Sure sorry I missed that! The sky was socked in where I live, so I wouldn't have seen it anyway.
