Winter observing,I know a lot of folks like to observe at this time of year due to the observing conditions, still air & all.I still like spring & summer,or as long as it's above 50 degrees. On 02/03/06 I was out observing"full moon"even though the views were great I could only spend a little while outside,if it wasn't for the warm room I have set aside I wouldn't even be outside at all,I've done some imaging, but it's all been unguided, can't bring myself to stay out in the cold that long,C'MON SUMMER!!However come this weekend 02/10/06,Bob & I will be At Coleman Observatory"weather allowing"observing & doing some imaging,& I'd like ask everyone that can to come join us"don't want to be the only ones freezing"Anyway, see y'all on the 10th!

I'm hoping for a little warmer temps by this Saturday, Rick. I also echo your invitation for anyone who wants to come to please join us.

HOWEVER!

I'll be assisting Tessa Freeman with EFortSmith magazine with an article featuring AOAS and our member Mike Holloway this evening. She'll come by with a photographer to interview myself (and anyone else who's here) and take some pics of the observatory, and then we'll leave for a short while to go to Mike Holloway's observatory about 3 miles north to do a quick visit with pics and an interview with him, as well. It shouldn't take long and I'll leave Rick in charge of the observatory grounds and CETUS until I return!

Come on up and join us! Get your mug in the magazine for the March issue.
