Well, folks, it doesn't look good for any observing this evening. I'm CANCELING the star party at Huckabee Nature Center scheduled for this evening. Our next public observing event will be January 5th at Coleman Observatory. Please consult our Site Events Calendar for further public observing events throughout 2008.

Our next scheduled event at the Janet Huckabee Arkansas River Valley Nature Center will be on February 20-21, 2008, for the Total Lunar Eclipse which occurs that evening beginning well before midnight, and ends shortly after midnight. Its the best Total Lunar Eclipse in several years, and the only one until December 21, 2010, which occurs much later in the evening (actually in early morning).

Please join AOAS for this next GREAT LUNAR ECLIPSE on Feb 20-21, 2008, at Huckabee Nature Center.
