Hello all! I've been lurking around here for some time and I finally decided to introduce myself and share one of my recent images of our closest neighbor. For those who may be interested, this image was capture with a web cam at prime focus through a 5" Mak on Feb. 14th. with 3/5 seeing. The image is approx. 1200 out of 1500 frames stacked using Registax 4. I've always been fascinated with our heavens above, but I never really paid much attention to the beauty of it all until we purchased a cheep telescope for my daughters 8th birthday. After a few weeks of viewing and learning the night sky, we discovered Satrun and it's rings. Oh my gosh! Ever since my family and I gazed upon that magnificant planet that night, I come to the conclusion that one can not have enough apeture Big Grin With that being said, I hope you all enjoy and comments are very much welcome good or bad. Oh, there is a couple more observations I've noticed in my short experience that would like to point out..
(1) Clouds bad
(2) Clear skies good
