Hello everyone!

In the hopes that there may be someone out there who has a riding lawn mower they might be thinking of trading in soon, please let us know before you sell it to someone or trade it in on a new one. Joe Roam bought the one we have now used from a friend three years ago, and it's on its last legs. I believe I can keep it running the rest of this year, but we could sure use a donated riding mower if anyone has one.

We can offer anyone who might donate one a fair-market-value donation letter to use for your taxes on the year following the donation. That could be a few hundred dollars less on your taxes you'd have to pay if you let us take over your gently used riding lawn mower.

This is just something we want to ask about and in case anyone is interested in talking about this, please let me know and we'll pull the Executive Committee members together to consider the deal. You might get at least as much as a lawn mower dealer could offer you for a trade in, possibly even a little more than they'd give. But you'd really be helping us out to let us keep the grounds in good shape for the next few years more by considering a donation.
