AOAS.ORG is proud to announce a new feature to make things easier for you when adding forum posts, contributing new stories: AutoTags!

Using AutoTags should greatly simplify adding things like images, etc. to your stories or forum posts, or when you want to reference another forum post or story from your new contribution. AutoTags work similarly to the "BBCode" that you now use in forum posts for things like bold, italic, underline, etc. ("BBCode" stands for "Bulletin Board Code," and has become ubiquitous among most forum engines over the past few years.)

With AutoTags, you can insert an image in your story or forum post (even add a caption) simply by entering the following code:

     [media:mediaID Caption]

AutoTags are designed to only reference objects that are already on the web site, so of course the image must first be uploaded to the Gallery.

Liek images, you can enter a reference to another story or forum post just by entering the following tags:

     [story:storyID]
     [forum:forumID]
