Hi folks,

I captured this one last night using my Christmas present, a William Optics ZenithStar 66 SD. Eek!
The LXD75 mount works much better with this small load, the WO ZS 66 and the meade 70mm for guiding.
The picture is a composite of 27 subs @ 240s for the outer nebula, 27 subs @ 60s for the middle part, 27 subs at 15s for the outer part of the core and 27 subs @ 5.7s for the core. All using the Lumicon Deep Sky Filter and guided with Phillips webcam on the meade 70mm using PhD guiding. Subs stacked in DSS and processed in PS.

Waiting for more clear skies to capture the color subs!

hope you like it.
Pablo

Beautiful work, Pablo!

I'm looking forward to seeing the color frames you capture with that setup!

Thanks Dave.
I was capturing the color yesterday but only be able to get the red subs thanks to the weather.
The weather forecast was quite more optimistic than the actual weather. Maybe the cloud gods get excited with all the new fine equipment you guys got around Wink.
