brand new member here...have looked at the site for a while and bought a new telescope recently so i thought i'd join up. wanted to let all know that KUAF public radio now has some Astronomy related programs on Friday nights on the HD3 signal. in full disclosure, i do work there but thought this would be of interest to some of you. if you don't have an HD radio you can go to kuaf.com and listen that way. one is SETI's 'Are We Alone?' and the other is 'Planetary Radio'. also, if any of you know of any 'astronomy happenings' that would make for good public service announcement material...i'm always looking

Hi Pete! Glad you decided to register with us! Thanks for the tip on the radio programs. I just recently got moved up to HD TV and now HD Radio? I'm glad you folks are broadccasting on the 'Net as well. We'd like to see you at the meeting in February if you can make it.
