The term "Semper Fi" is short for Semper Fidelis, which is Latin for "Always Faithful". It is the Marine Corps motto and is found on the Marine Corps' emblem (Eagle, Globe & Anchor). The spread eagle, a symbol of our nation, holds in his beak a streamer upon which is inscribed this motto: "Semper Fidelis" |
