Hello, I am here in NW Arkansas (Springdale) working on a project till late September. I have a small Mobile observatory that I would like to bring up and set somewhere for that time. I was the secretary for Central Florida Astronomical Society (CFAS) but will be here for awhile and will re-assume that role when I return.

I would like to be active in your club while here and find someplace to setup my observatory. In Florida, our season ends in April because of the high humidity and rain but I assume your season starts then. I see that you may have a star party this weekend if the weather holds, but even if it doesn't, I would enjoy meeting some members of your group and join.

Please feel free to call me directly 407-928-9364 or email BertBurch@hotmail.com. I look forward to meeting you and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction to find some dark skies. :-)

Hi everyone. I found a place out past Petigrew. A small church at the top of one of the mountains gave me permission to setup for the summer. I'll include some pictures soon. I have my mobile lab and telescope setup. We built a small privacy fence around the scope to act as a wind block. It is very dark out there and I look forward to getting some imagining done, as soon as I get some clear weather that is. IT has been cloudy around here most every night this month.
