I resently bought a AN/PVS-4 3rd Generation Night vision scope with hardcase and gun mount, and a AN/TVS-5 155mm Objective lense and built a AN-TVS-5A night vision scope. (these are the parts I had left over after the build)

The AN/TVS-5A were manufactured for the US Marines to be mounted on heavy machine guns and other weapons as night vision sights.

The unit is built like a tank and pretty heavy . It will be tripod mounted but seems to give the "BEST" night vision view posible of any night vision device I have seen.................. More stars than any telescope or big binoculars.
