I have never been to mulberry mountain and have a few questions. It appears that it is a dark sky location. How well can you see the Milky Way? Are they several lights from the camp sites? Just curious

The Mulberry Mountain Campground is in a relatively dark sky location. Photos of the Milky Way taken from the site have been published in the Astronomical League's Reflector magazine, if that gives you any indication. There are lights form the campsites, but it is fairly easy to put yourself in a position so that interference from them is minimized.
