Anybody have a Losmandy G-11 (With or Without GOTO) that they would like to part with?

I prefer a later model, and it must be in good condition. Laughing Out Loud

I am sick of cheap monunts and want one that will handle a 40-50lb load. Rolling Eyes

From my internet research, the Losmandy G-11 is the best for the money. Eek!

I do. When I changed my scope last year from the TV127is to the Tak. CCA-250P, I had to get a bigger mount. I was well satisified with it so I didn't get rid of it for anything bad. I had thought about setting up a portable setup but I don't think that will happen. You can send an email with what you thought about paying. Actually I don't remember how much they were. Always open to talk. It also has the gemini 1 but I really don't want to get rid of my backup. Let me know.

Just a note. I had the G8 and lightning struck it. Upgraded to the G11 and now have the titan5. I like losmandy Razz

The mount came with the Gemini 1. I don't want to get rid of it but, you would need to pick up one of there controlers which I have never used. I have the Gemini2 on the Titan 5 but want to keep the Gemini1 for a backup. You need to check around about finding a used controler for manual slew and such. Things to think about. Also the mount comes with a tripod but I never used it.

I will hold out for one with at least Gemini 1. I have seen for as low as $2000.00 on Cloudy Nights Classified Ads, but haven't been fast enough to nab one yet.

New with Gemini 2 the complete G-11 is $3.195.00!! Eek!

OK. I tell you what just keep this in mind and if you come across a Gimini 1 o 2 for sale alone get back with me. I am sure we can make this happen. I would sell it at a price you would be happy with. I am just not out to take somebody this late in life. I was looking at it a minute age and the motors are still on it.

On the Losamndy site, they have the "GEMINI 2 UPGRADE - MAIN CONTROL UNIT AND HAND CONTROL" for $1,095.00. It is mint as an as a Gimini 1 upgrade.

Is this (and Cables) all I would need to put your G11 in full operation? Rolling Eyes
