Tomorrow, 10/14/17, AOAS will host our annual Astronomy Day at Lake Fort Smith.

From 12 noon till 4:00pm we will setup astronomy displays, a "Star Dome" and have presentation in the Visitor's Center.

Outside we will setup telescopes, with solar filters, to view the Sun.

At 5:00pm we will have a Pic-Nic on the south side of the play/pic-nic area by the lake. Bring a covered dish or your supper and join us. I will have hot charcoal if anyone wants to cook burgers.

At sunset we will have a Star Party in the south Marina parking lot. Several telescopes will be setup to view planets and other objects.

Everyone is welcome. Bring your telescopes and binoculars.
