We will meet at Brahms Ice Cream in Alma at around 6:30pm, this Saturday.

By October I will have a new meeting location for the meetings from October to April.

I have been thinking about the Van Buren Public Library. We may have to change the meeting time to adjust to their closing schedule.

They have a large meeting room and seem to be accommodating. We may be able to have our October Astronomy Day there also and draw a crowd.

If anybody has another location in mind, let me know and I will check.

Great idea, Leonard! As the VB Library was being built, I asked about using their facility as a future AOAS meeting place. They were agreeable to the idea and I endorse your idea of holding future meetings there. They have plenty of room and a library is about as perfect a place to meet as anywhere else that I know. Personally, I'd like to someday use our club library in a place members have access to it, and if the club sees fit for the suggestion, perhaps we can donate the library of books we now own to an area library, to make them available to the club members and the public in general. Most of the books are becoming quite dated, but they all still contain considerable information that would be useful for decades to come.
My 2-cents worth...
