On Saturday the 12th of October, AOAS will host Astronomy Day at the Huckabee River Valley Nature Center, from 12:00 noon till 4:00pm in the classroom on the east side of the Nature Center. We will provide club information, information about the Universe and space exploration and will have telescopes setup with solar filters to observe the Sun, weather permitting.
At sunset, again weather permitting, we will have a Star Party with telescopes setup to view planets and other celestial objects at the Well’s Lake entrance.
Everyone is welcome!!!
All AOAS members are encouraged to attend.
Please bring your scopes!!!
