Dr. Chuck Larson is at the observatory with me this evening, working hard on our library of books. He's manually typing up all the pertinent information to build up our AOAS Library Inventory, something that's been needed for a very long time. Soon we'll be able to post the information on this site so that everyone will know what titles are available.

So, while he's busy with that, I'm posting his message about what he and wife Loretta will be bringing to the dinner. Chuck and Loretta will bring :

a sweet potato casserole, a green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce............other guests: none

Who's next with their side-dish?

Hi, everyone.

I'm posting this from Linda Miller regarding her dish(es) for the Christmas dinner.

Hey Bob. How are you? I hope school is going well. I will bring "Linda's Devilicious Eggs" and something else yet to be determined.

Linda

Big Grin Hello everyone.

I'm posting this for Margaret Brogley who wants to attend and bring a dish, but doesn't have a computer nor does she use the Internet. She will bring either a cake or a pie for more dessert options and she is looking forward to attending this meeting with us.

Personally, I'm thrilled that she plans to attend. Having just celebrated her 90th birthday in August, she is our senior member and probably our most curious member as well. I never tire of hearing her excellent astronomy questions, and I hope everyone else wants to see her at this dinner/meeting with us, too. Therefore, I'm proud to have made this post for her!

Bob

Smile Hi from one of our newest members, young Mikayla Stem who joined in November. I'm posting this for her this evening.

Mikayla will be bringing a banana yoghert dessert for the dinner.

I'll be looking forward to seeing Mikayla and her family at our dinner meeting next Friday evening. She's got a ton of good questions that I know we'll all enjoy helping her find the answers to. I'd expect 2-3 or so in their group.

See you there.........

Hello everyone.

I'm posting this for members Cathy Goodwin and Sue Burgett. They inform me that they'll be bringing salads for this Friday's dinner/meeting. I'm sure this will be a green salad and at least one other type of salad as well since this is what they have brought in past years.

We look forward to seeing everyone there Friday evening.
