Numerous activities are already planned for the Grand Re-Opening of Mt Magazine State Park on May 20, 21. From astronomy, to birding, to hang gliding and much more, see the whole list by Clicking on this link.

I will be making the presentation in the Visitor's Center AV Room at 1:00pm Saturday afternoon, and I'll be joined by other AOAS members as well as members from several other Arkansas astronomy clubs to view the Sun through SAFE SOLAR FILTERS after the presentation until late afternoon. The public will also be invited to join in on the observing from Horse Camp area later in the evening at 8:30pm.

If you have any questions about anything involving astronomy, contact me at bobmoody@aoas.org.
If you have any questions about other activities, contact the Park Interpreter, Don Simons at (479) 963-8502 or by email at don.simons@arkansas.gov
