Hey there, just wanted to take the time to say hi to everyone,I'm looking forward to meeting some of you saturday nite (weather permitting)at CAC,I'll be the bald like with a lost look on his face, anyway I've been talking to Bob the last several days & if he is any indication of the calibur of people in AOAS this is going to be great fun & a chance to learn a lot.I have recently started to try my hand at astrophotography & have what I think(a little favortism there) are some fair photos, nowhere near as good as some that are posted on the AOAS website tho,I'd very much like to share them with others & to see what others have done, share techniques & such, anyway, look forard to meeting you

Well, we certainly had a blast at CAC Park tonight, didn't we? At least 100 people came to visit and see Saturn, Jupiter, the moon and other objects such as the M-13 globular cluster in Hercules.
We're glad to have you with us, Rick. Your donation of the Coulter Odyssey I 13" f/4.4 was a real blessing to the club and we deeply appreciate that and the 4.5" that you also donated as well. We have SO MUCH that we'll be able to do with these new additions to our "arsenal".
Thanks, and welcome once again!
Bob
