AOAS was a member society of the Astronomical League when we first formed in 1985. We enjoyed their quarterly newsletter \"The Reflector\" and the other benefits of membership. The AL is THE organization to which we apply when we find all our Messier or Herschel objects, and their observing certificates are well respected in the world of amateur astronomy.

I VOTE YES!!! Let\'s re-join the Astronomical League!
