My Dob

I use a 12.5\" f / 7 Truss-tube Dobsonian. My scope has a 1/17th wave primary with enhanced coatings (98%) made specifically for me by PEGASUS OPTICS in 1996. I told John Hall I wanted 2200mm in focal length, and he gave me 2203, which is outstanding!
I then used a \"kit\" from ASTROSYSTEMS which came unassembled to the exact specifications of my primary. From there, it was a simple matter to assemble the kit and achieve first-light in May of 1996.
I can\'t say enough about how much I enjoy my scope. I love that it breaks down into a package that is easily transportable. I love the images it gives, especially when the seeing cooperates. I honestly feel that it can equal or surpass ANY commercially made 16\" to 17.5\" scope. NO BRAG, JUST FACT!!!
